Classification of Micro printer

There are four main types of mini printer: wearable, integrated handheld, car-mounted and trolley-mounted.

Wearable

The user can wear the printer with a belt clip or shoulder strap. With the printer in place of the other carrying options, users can free up their hands to perform other tasks and reduce fatigue, especially if the printer is heavily used or is carried all day. Using the belt clip or shoulder strap, the user can comfortably carry larger and heavier printers, which is useful when additional media capacity or a wider label is required.

Handheld

Handheld printer is a portable computer with a combination of devices. The printer may be made as a detachable component stuck on the terminal unit, or incorporated as an integral unit. The combination of printer and handheld design eliminates the need for cable connections and the wireless connection between the printer and the computer. Users should test all-in-one models to ensure they are durable enough to remain in use after a fall, and their ergonomic design allows comfortable one-handed use.

Car mounted

Mobile printers can be installed on most vehicles, including forklifts and freight trucks. Installation can be permanent, for in-vehicle operation, or it can be disassembled to allow the printer to be taken out of the service point, for example, in goods delivery or route account processing. The mobile printer is designed to withstand shock and vibration in a mobile environment, and its power management, media handling and user interface functions are optimized for mobile applications. Printer Modules

Cart mounted

Desktop and desktop printers can be mounted on carts for mobility. Typical applications include distribution centers, signage, dual media, and other print jobs that require high capacity output or large media specifications. Trolley-mounted printers require power and are typically used with a PC or a portable computer mounted on a cart.
